Spring Class

Shakespeare's Villains
After performing in the winter, we all need a fun break, and what better than to delve into the lives of Shakespeare's Villains.  We'll explore the stories around some of the great villains in Shakespeare's work.  We'll also explore some Shakespearean stage combat techniques and put them to good use when acting out our villainous scenes.  By the end of the class, you'll get to adapt your own Super-Shakespeare Villain and write your own dramatic monologue in Shakespearean style.

Fall Class

Living Shakespeare

Living Shakespeare makes its much-anticipated return.  The class will focus on learning all about Shakespeare, his stories, and characters, then we will compile Shakespeare scenes to create a new story! Through our unique, hands-on class, students will actively explore the world of Shakespeare and bring his classic plays into the modern world. Read and act out some of Shakespeare's greatest scenes and monologues, learn the stories behind his works, and then collaborate in the creation of a new Shakespeare story (until his original language). This class culminates in a final showcase, and is strongly encouraged for those who also wish to enroll in the winter/spring classes.
